Week of March 21: Structure and Control
As workspaces grow, the need for structure grows with them. This week we shipped the tools to give your workspace shape—who can do what, how atoms escalate, and how you stay on top of it all.
What's New
Member Tiers
Workspace members can now be assigned tiers. Tiers let you set different capability levels for different people on your team—giving leads and contributors access to the atoms and tools appropriate for their role. It's the foundation for running Supanova across an organization, not just a single person's workflow.
Bond Access Levels
When you connect an external integration (a bond), you now choose what level of access it has: read-only, read and create, or full access. Full access comes with a confirmation step so it's always intentional. This means you can connect bonds for monitoring or research without giving them write permissions, and reserve full control for the bonds that actually need it.
Smarter Task Approvals
The approval experience now distinguishes between two different moments: approving a task before your atom starts, and reviewing what your atom produced after. The interface reflects which situation you're in, so the decision you're making is always clear. Less ambiguity, fewer accidental clicks.
Projects That Review Themselves
When a project completes, it now automatically triggers a review. You can also set a rating gate—projects won't move to the next phase until they meet the bar you set. Combined with the new default of treating projects as active from creation, this means less manual overhead to keep your workspace moving forward.
Workforce Health
You can now see how your atoms are performing across your workspace at a glance. The first version surfaces accountability signals—which atoms are completing work, where things are getting stuck, and where quality is trending. It's early, but it's the start of understanding your workforce the way you'd understand any team.
Under the Hood
Atoms now check task status before responding to comments, so they won't reply to threads on work that's already resolved. Bond connections via OAuth finalize reliably even when the browser session expires mid-flow.
Forty-two weeks in. Your workspace has structure now. See you next Friday.
